We all deserve a respectful workplace. When people at work offend, embarrass or humiliate one another, it can damage ones dignity and well-being. Over time disrespectful behaviour in the workplace can lead to an unhealthy work environment and a high rate of turnover. Part 10 and 11 of the Manitoba Workplace Safety & Health regulations speak to Violence and Harassment in the workplace and were recently amended to include a part on "severe conduct that adversely affects a worker's psychological or physical well-being". This half day workshop will go over employer responsibilities, appropriate and inappropriate behaviours and the new legislative requirements surrounding Violence and Harassment. This workshop will provide participants with information and practical solutions to help implement and maintain a respectful workplace.
