| DESCRIPTION: | Travel Manitoba is a Crown Corporation responsible for stimulating innovative, sustainable tourism growth in Manitoba’s $1.6 billion tourism industry. In partnership with the tourism industry, Travel Manitoba is responsible for tourism marketing, visitor information services, research and public information. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Marketing and Communications team. Asset & Production Coordinator - Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Asset & Production Coordinator is responsible for the organization and maintenance of Travel Manitoba’s digital assets, including an extensive library of photos, videos, and logos. This individual is also responsible for managing, editing and fulfilling requests for photography/video and executing the delivery of Travel Manitoba and partner content on video screens in Travel Manitoba Visitor Information Centres. The individual will have design responsibilities including creating PowerPoint presentations, ad production (print and web), and updating website content (includes images, copy, and videos). QUALIFICATIONS: • Experience with digital asset management programs, content management systems, social media aggregators and working with digital photography and video files • Experience in layout and design, including familiarity with print and web design and development • Solid skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop • Experience in digital/online marketing would be an asset • Experience in WordPress, HTML, HTML5, DHTML, CSS Stylesheets and other development tools would be an asset • Works well in a team with strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills • Proficient at handling multiple tasks and priorities effectively with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
