QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The AALTOS Garden Café Manager will possess general knowledge of hotel procedures and practices; Be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task while working with limited supervision; Able to maintain or exceed the established standards of operations while minimizing the cost of operations while maximizing revenues; The AALTOS Garden Café Manager will train and develop team members, provide direction and support to management and co-workers in addition to mentoring and motivating staff; Will effectively communicate with all other Department Heads and personnel.

Duties and responsibilities may be added or changed as necessary.

The ability to acquire “Serving It Safe” certification, a Criminal Record Check, as well as the ability to work days, holidays, evenings and / or weekends, and be of legal age is required.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 The AALTOS Garden Café Manager will have good organizational and management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced customer-service oriented atmosphere.  The Manager MUST be able to stand, walk, and remain on their feet and perform job duties during their shift while working quickly and quietly, Deal with loud noises, large crowds and potentially upset guests; Handle a fast-paced environment that is often stressful; Lift, balance and carry trays of up to 20 lbs during your shift; and Operate a cash register and all processes of payment.
