Head Cook/Kitchen Manager

This is a seasonal full time position beginning April 1st and ending October 31st.  The position requires a flexible schedule and weekend availability.    

 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

·         food preparation and/or service tasks such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary

·         hiring and training new and existing staff

·         marketing and promoting activities for the food operation

·         ordering and receiving products and supplies to ensure proper quantity, quality and price on all purchases.

·         planning for special club events and banquet functions.

·         developing and administering an approved operating budget for the food & beverage services at the golf course

 

Skills:

 

·         demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively

·         experience with POS systems

·         organizational and administrative skills

·         proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·         4 years cooking experience

·         Serving it Safe and Food Handlers Certificates a must
