Job Hazard Analysis/Safe Work Procedure

Safe Work Procedures are generally written methods outlining how to perform a task with minimum risk to people, equipment, materials, environment and processes. Part 2 of Manitoba’s Workplace Safety & Health Regulation 210/06 states “an employer must develop and implement safe work procedures for the work that is being done, train workers in safe work procedures and ensure workers comply with safe work procedures". These safe work procedures should be developed as a result of completing a Critical Task Analysis and a Job Hazard Analysis. This workshop will give participants the basic understanding and tools required to develop their own written Safe Work Procedures.
