Protecting Your Employees, Customers and Property From Exposure to Fentanyl ZOOM
As a result of a serious increase in the use of fentanyl in Manitoba, MTEC in partnership with the Winnipeg Police Service and a Hospitality Security Consultant developed this new training program.
This comprehensive program includes how to handle possible risks of exposure, what fentanyl looks like and the statistics of how deadly it is. Just touching it can kill you, your staff or your customers.
Employers Duty of Care, personal decontamination and who cleans up the room, washroom or stair case where fentnyl has been used is also included in the training.
A 30 minute video with the WPS Sergeant and former Sergeant, Hospitality Security Consultant, discussing the current situation and how to deal with it, is also part of the training.
This training will provide valuable information to all Manitobans and their businesses.
