Clean It Right is an enhanced cleaning program designed and developed by MTEC to provide awareness and education on cleaning your business, with the short-term goal of regaining consumer confidence in returning to your businesses during and after the pandemic.
The long-term goal of the program is to continue to provide a clean environment for the safety of guests, visitors and your employees. The training includes a list of common infections and viruses that can be spread by incorrect or poor cleaning and disinfecting or sanitizing, including: Coronavirus, Influenza, Norovirus, Diptheria and Staph infections.
Being a Clean It Right Certified Business will continue to give your customers confidence in your business and keep them coming back!
There are five custom modules which have been created for your specific type of business:
- Hotels, Motels and Bed & Breakfasts
- Restaurants and Food Services
- Retail Businesses
- Offices & Service Centres
- Tourism Transportation
Clean It Right is not intended to teach participants how to be cleaners or replace internal policies and procedures. It is a program to teach cleaners and staff when, where and how frequently cleaning is required to provide a safe environment for customers and employees.
It is also a program with long-term benefits for your business. The commitment to a clean and safe environment will give your business the competitive edge now and in the future.
Businesses that train their cleaning staff will become Clean It Right Certified and receive a window decal to show the public that they are committed to providing a clean and safe environment. They will also be listed on the Clean It Right website and be marketed in the weekly MTEC enews which features six Clean It Right Certified Businesses each week and has links to their websites.
