Fundamentals of Event Sound CLASSROOM
During this first session, Andrew Yankiwski will provide instruction on a range of topics related to managing event sound.
Topics covered will include:
- Planning for your event
- Acoustics of the event space (What is the room size, shape, and ceiling height?)
- Positioning of speaker systems
- What type of event are you conducting (e.g. Speakers session, concerts etc.)
- Managing the physical layout of the space (e.g. indoor or outdoor)
- Power management (What type of power is available?)
- Understanding sound leakage and room noise
- Microphones (wireless and wire)
