Strategies For Combating Crime Impacting The Hospitality & Tourism Industry ZOOM
In response to the rise in crime affecting the hospitality and tourism industry in Manitoba, MTEC will be offering classroom training to assist businesses in protecting their employees and their property. Participants will also be able to attend this training session via ZOOM. This is an issue that has been plaguing businesses all over the province and we want the entire province to be able to attend.
Strategies for Combating Crime Impacting the Hospitality & Tourism Industry is a 3 hour interactive training session that will be delivered by a retired Winnipeg Police Officer that has been working in Safety, Security and Risk Management for the Hospitality industry for the past 10 years.
Tactical communication will be a key component of this training as well as ways that a business can protect itself from crime and minimize the risks. Participants will be encouraged to identify safety issues their business has been facing and will be given some practical ideas and ways to deal with these issues from the personal experience of the facilitator.
