Managing Mental Health in the Workplace ZOOM
In a recent study, the Mental Health Commission of Canada found that in any given week, 500,000 Canadians do not go to work due to mental health challenges. There is significant evidence that poor mental health at work affects performance at both the individual and organizational level. This workshop is designed to assist leaders in addressing and promoting mental health and reduce stigma of mental illness in a workplace setting.
The learning objectives will help participants:
- Dispel myths of mental health challenges,
- Identify how to recognize signs and indicators of mental health concerns in the workplace,
- Increase confidence in managing employees experiencing mental health concerns, and
- Support employees through reasonable accommodation when applicable.
This session is designed for Leaders, however all are welcome to attend.
