The things most people want in life is either:
- owned or controlled by someone else, like a job, or a house
- or someone else has already figured out or knows how to get what they want and can give them a shortcut to figuring it out.
Because we can't always get what we want on our own, we need to have a network of people who we can cooperate and collaborate with, to get where we want to go in life and especially in business.
