DESCRIPTION: True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for an energetic and motivated sales professional to join our team.



The Account Executive, Ticket Sales is responsible for executing plans to secure revenue for True North (including Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose) with specific focus on the growth of Winnipeg Jets season ticket memberships. This position is expected to be highly engaged in growing season ticket memberships within the local community.

What to be excited for in this role:

Focus execution of the assigned campaigns throughout the year to deliver new business revenue results by proactively selling Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose ticket offerings, including full, half season and quarter season ticket packages and game packages.
Actively seek to generate new business through creative and innovative programming/initiatives.
Provide technical support and customer service at Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose games as required.
Responsible to support game execution of the sales team to ensure responsibilities are executed including targeted number of touchpoints with prospects.
Participate and contribute ideas to weekly meetings and training sessions.
Generate new business revenue.
Build meaningful and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure the continued growth of ticket revenue and achieve sales targets.
Contribute to a positive sales culture in a competitive environment that is open to collaboration through the growth of creative and innovative programming.
Each Account Executive will have a weekly expectation to meet and exceed in relation to sales touchpoints to connect and close prospective leads including outbound phone calls, in-game meet and greets, emails, social selling techniques and face-to-face appointments.
Ensure all lead and prospect information is captured in the CRM system and maintain accurate customer and prospective customer records.Actively prosect and promote ticket offerings at Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose home games as well as team and community opportunities.
Other responsibilities, as required.
What we need from you:

Previous successful experience in a sales role (minimum 2+ years).
Post secondary education in business, marketing or related field.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong understanding of customer service.
Deliver results and exceed expectations while working collaboratively with others.
Results driven with the ability to set goals and deliver on priorities.
Superior attention to detail and excellent personal organization.
Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A fundamental understanding of database processes.
Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
Proactive in anticipating problems and/or issues and providing superior fan experience service solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to successfully communicate with Winnipeg Jets stakeholders.
Ability to generate revenue through targeted call campaigns with defined call volume targets.
Sound interpersonal skills and judgment to aid in management of relationships with various clients, supplier, peers, and supervisors as required in this role.
Very strong organizational skills to stay on task and effectively manage competing demands towards successful and timely completion of projects.
Must be flexible with working evenings, weekends, and holidays on an as needed basis.
