Build a Culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion CLASSROOM

An organization is only as good as it's culture and building that culture is not only a role for HR, it's every manager's and employee's responsibility. This session is designed for leaders of all levels. We will review foundational concepts and topics of diversity, equity and inclusion and by the end of the session, participants will be able to adapt key concepts and take away inclusive practices they can immediately apply at work.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and discuss the foundational concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace

  • Touch on the elements of workplace diversity with a focus on gender, age and cultural diversity

  • Explain the concept of unconscious bias and how it manifests in a workplace environment

  • Take away initiatives to create a supportive and inclusive culture that will improve employee engagement, increase retention and help employees grow professionally.
