We all know we should be ‘doing’ social media but are you clear about, WHY you need to use it for your business? WHO your audience is? WHAT to share on WHICH tool(s) and WHEN?

In this 3-hour workshop you will learn some fundamentals of marketing and how social media fits in, as well as:

  • The social media landscape and business model
  • Why your business is using social media so you have a clear focus for each tool
  • Who is your ‘best’ audience – the basics PLUS using the power of machine learning to optimize reach
  • What, when and where to share – messaging, creative, timing and tool – finding the right balance with your (often limited) budget
  • Strategy execution (how to make it all happen) – Using SMM tools to lighten the load
  • Measuring your success with analytics
  • How to manage your reputation in a crisis situation

Food Handler Certification
Time: 10:00am-3:00pm
Length: 5 Hours
Location: MTEC
Cost: $85.00 (plus GST)

Food Handler Certification

Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: MTEC Training Centre  75 Scurfield Blvd. , Unit 3 (Free parking in front of the building)

MTEC is an authorized contractor to deliver Manitoba Health’s approved Food Handler’s Certification Program, administer the provincial exam and score the exams. Exams will be processed and certificates  mailed out within one week of completing the exam.

  • This course is recommended for all owners, managers and supervisors of food service establishments and food service personnel who are responsible for the receiving, preparing and serving of food.
  • Food Service Establishments with 5 food handlers are required to have at least 1 staff member who has successfully completed the Food Handler Certification.
  • Food Service Establishments with more than 5 food handlers working at any one time must have a person who has successfully completed the Food Handler Certification on duty at all times.
