| Description: | | This interactive session helps supervisors, managers and leaders to strengthen their ability to delegate with clarity, confidence, and trust, while also setting healthy boundaries that protect their time and empower their teams.
Participants learn frameworks and language they can use immediately, especially useful in lean teams where leaders are both “doing the work” and leading people.
By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
- Delegate with clear outcomes, roles, and timelines to reduce rework and missed handoffs
- Set boundaries professionally (without guilt) while maintaining strong customer and team relationships
- Handle pushback and last-minute requests with confident, respectful language
- Leave with a 2-week action plan to apply delegation and boundaries on the job
It is recommended that participants have their own computer with video and audio in order to fully participate.

- Identify potential using observable behaviours—not just current performance
- Distinguish “high performer” needs from “high potential” development needs
- Use coaching questions that build ownership, problem-solving, and confidence
- Create low-cost development opportunities that fit busy operations
- Deliver feedback that improves performance while keeping people engaged
- Leave with a 2-week personal leadership action plan to spot and grow potential
