DESCRIPTION: Tourism Winnipeg is seeking an out-going, highly organized and creative individual to be the Partnership Coordinator, who will be responsible for administering the Team Winnipeg and Winnipeg Tour Connection marketing activities that range from trade shows, client events and site visits to management of annual meetings, partner involvement, promotional items, displays and marketing materials.

The Partnership Coordinator duties include:
• organization of the sales initiatives and partner meetings
• management of the budgets and process payments
• partner recruitment
• on-going communications
• coordinate the annual consortium meetings
• collaborate with the Business Development Managers to submit reports and tag accounts in the customer relations database
• some evenings and weekend work may be required
• must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

Team Winnipeg is a meeting and convention consortium of 50 partners that promotes Winnipeg as a meeting and convention destination and Winnipeg Tour Connection is a group and packaged travel consortium of 25 partners that promotes Winnipeg as a group tour destination.

University degree and/or a minimum three years’ experience in an event management role is necessary. Previous experience in the hospitality industry and French language are also assets.
