| DESCRIPTION: | Winnipeg’s #1 Painters Inc. is looking for professional and experienced Paint Crew Supervisor to join its team in providing staining and painting services to the Whiteshell region. The successful candidate will supervise a crew of painters working in the Winnipeg #1 Painters Workshop. They will be expected to live in the Employee Cabin located in West Hawk Lake and be responsible for overseeing accommodation standards. The Paint Crew Supervisor will report daily to the Owner regarding job updates, employee performance and Employee Cabin needs. Hourly compensation will begin at $25 per hour. Only candidates who can commit to a year long contract will be considered. Required Skills/Abilities: -3-5 years of professional painting experience -Experience managing a job site and/or job crew -Proficiency in wood staining and painting applications -Knowledge of paint, stain & primer products -Knowledge of working with a spectrum of materials (stucco, clapboard, wood etc.) -Excellent attention to detail -Experience using paint sprayers -Professionalism & strong communication skills Preferred Education/Experience: -Cross-cultural communication and conflict resolution skills -Fluency in Amharic is an asset -Valid driver’s license |
